The Road Forward

Well whats left? Hmm... Theres actually a lot that needs to be done and none the less a very large percentage of people rebelling against this whole year book process and the stuff going into it. We finally got a majority of the baby pictures which took forever to do but its getting done. We took the senior superlative pictures which was pretty quick and easy.

All thats left is to actually get the pics on a layout. Even though we have a theme which is graffiti, theres still a huge process that needs to get done. But by the end of may we are trying get everything set up for june prom and graduation so that when those are done we can place those in it.

Im sure we'll get it done though. We may be a little lazy but we are the best at what we are doing so.

The Road Forward

Last semester as the yearbook committee our main objective was to place deadlines for when pictures are due. Last semester we did a survey to find out who would vote for who to take the place of senior superlative, We even tried to get baby pictures in before january, but it was a struggle. The senior superlatives was even harder; we did not get as many as we wanted but we made due.

This quarter were trying to get a rough draft of the whole year book. First we have enough picture to set up a layout from the last event which was the senior feast that took place in November before the thanksgiving. We also have enough pictures from our co-cameraman who goes around and take pictures of the students in there class and in the hall walls.

To finish this we need to start moving; five more months till graduation. First we need to get as many pictures as possibly because without those theres no year book period. Second we need to enforce deadlines so that we can get this on the road. Third we need to set up a good layout a really unique layout that every one will love.

Year Book #2

    I wish scott wouldn't make us do this blogs there annoying. I can't wait to be 18 in a few weeks honestly. Finally liberated from the everyday rules of a adolescent teen to beginning the rules adults.
Seems awesome. Im still unsure on what my plans are for my big day. Im also excited about being closer to 21 as well oh boy. Anyway I was thinking I should go to the casino in queens in 18 there to gamble its because its run by the Ny lottery system. Makes me feel good to say im an adult no more a teen. Any way im tired of these darn blogs they annoy me.

Year book

So Honestly I feel like not doing this year book stuff it extremely stressful. No one in the school wants to give in there stuff on time and when it's time to give it in everyone is like "oh we didn't know" But where were you when we gave them out during AM Forum?, where were you when we tried making announcements...Yeah exactly. Seems to me people In Ndhs are more for things being handed to them rather then they fighting for it to be honest. As young adults soon to be adults we now have responsibilities to get what we need done. Exactly when will we get the memo.

Half Ton Killer

           In 2008 a woman named Mayra Rosales who weighed 1100 pounds confessed to killing her young nephew by rolling on top of him by accident to protect her sister who was actually the real killer. Her motives were to protect her family from being taken away. But what was very surprising was when they did the autopsy they found fractures on the skull. If you rolled over on someone there shouldn't be any injuries to the skull.
           When the police found such injuries they started to question the real story. They knew something just wasn't right. When the real story surfaced they found out that the sister would beat him when she was frustrated. The morning of the little boys death before leaving the sister of Mayra Rosales had used a hard brush to beat the child before leaving to work; when she left Mayra noticed the child had stopped breathing recalling what happened in the morning she realized her sister had made a huge mistake. When realizing this she realized that she had to protect her sister so she came up with the story that she rolled on him.
         When the police got involved and started investigated the jig was up she confessed that it was her sister. They arrested the sister and now years later she still lays in jail.

Happy New Years

First off happy New Years NDHS. Happy New Years Blogger and Happy New Years to anyone that reads this. So far the year book seems to going quite well. Now we're in the picture stage; trying to get pictures from students so we can start creating layouts of page ans sampling different things. This year book stuff is quite annoying though. I just wonder how we're going to get people to follow directions though. Oh well I'll leave that for next blog.

So I'm inn charge of the year book design. Yikes!!. Talk about pressure I mean I'm not like unconfident about my skill; not at all, but it just kind forces me to place a more quality in my work a quality that I honestly don't know if I have but, I thank god for my fighter spirit, and my competitive ego so I'm 1000% sure I'll pull it off. One of the ideas I have so far is roman numerals. Let's face it roman numerals are like everything. I feel like the whole roman numerals thing kind of gives off this anticipation, this kind of suspense, and it's pretty bad ass period so why not have like right in the from it's gonna be MMXIII which means 2013 uh uh awesome right I know any who.
